PROBLEMS LOGGING INTO CPANEL, WHM OR WEBMAIL

If you're having problems logging into cPanel, WHM or webmail, there may be a firewall in place that is blocking your access. Don't worry! Just use the proxy connections instead!

Our nameservers (or nameservers which resolve to your Greenix360 server) must be used in order to use these proxy URLs. Otherwise, A records will need to be created for each subdomain using the IP noted in the bottom of the left-hand sidebar on your cPanel dashboard, so that they point to our servers.

Get into cPanel

With our Linux Shared hosting accounts, users have access to a control panel that contains the admin functions of their account. Generally, access to cPanel can be gained by going to:

http://yourdomain.com/cpanel

The above URL would convert to the following URL within the address bar:

http://yourdomain.com:2082

Unfortunately, the above URLs may cause a problem for some users as it attempts to connect to port 2082; this is an uncommon port and may be blocked by corporate and public firewalls, thus preventing access by the user.

If the URL above does not work, try accessing cPanel with the following URL:

http://cpanel.yourdomain.com

Note: make sure that you change 'yourdomain.com' to the actual URL of your site.

This particular syntax does not connect using an uncommon port and should allow access. The same rules apply for accessing Webmail and WHM!

Get into WHM

The URL to access WHM, without the need to use an uncommon port, is:

http://whm.yourdomain.com

Note: make sure that you change 'yourdomain.com' to the actual URL of your site.

Get into Webmail

The URL to access Webmail, without the need to use an uncommon port, is:

http://webmail.yourdomain.com

Note: make sure that you change 'yourdomain.com' to the actual URL of your site.
